Tamara "Tammy" Heine

Tammy is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She has been in the healthcare field for 27 years. Tammy received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Baker University; her master’s in nursing from Nebraska Methodist College; and her Nurse Practitioner certificate from Carson Newman University. Tammy has been a professor at Bakery University for the last 14 years teaching pathophysiology and clinical instruction to nursing students. She recently decided to dedicate more time to patients to use this educational passion at the State of Kansas HealthQuest clinic to care for patients during acute health issues and help them meet their healthcare goals.

Tammy is a native Kansan and for the last 30+ years has lived with her husband on a cattle ranch west of Topeka where they raised their four children and now enjoy time with their grandchildren. She looks forward to serving you.
