Medical - Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas

Network vs. Non Network Providers
Network Providers accept the plan allowance as payment in full and save you money. Non Network Providers have not agreed to accept the plan allowance. This means that in addition to your required Out-of-Pocket cost, any amount above the plan allowance will be your responsibility. Out-of-Pocket maximums which include deductibles, coinsurance, and copays accumulate separately for Network and Non Network providers.

Amwell Telehealth
Telehealth is a fast, easy way to see a doctor. State of Kansas employees with BCBSKS have access to virtual care services through their own network provider or Amwell. Amwell is convenient, affordable, private and secure. The cost per visit is the same as an in-person visit.
Blue Cross provides telehealth services through Amwell®, the industry’s leading telehealth solution. It's easy to use, affordable, private, and secure.
SEHP members also have access to telehealth through the HealthQuest Health Center.
