Mental Health Awareness reminds us that taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body, and that support, understanding, and treatment can make a real difference.
The State Employee Health Plan offers mental health wellness services through the Employee Assistance Program and HealthQuest Health Center behavioral health services.
Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a special service provided for benefits-eligible employees and their dependents at no charge. The EAP provides information, short-term counseling, advice, and referrals from licensed professionals who understand the typical stresses we all face day in and day out.

JULY - National Brain Day
Maintaining good brain health through physical activity, healthy nutrition, quality sleep, and mental stimulation can support memory, focus, and overall well-being throughout life.
The SEHP promotes brain health by offering Health Coaching services through HealthQuest. Focus on areas such as weigh loss, better nutrition and improved sleep.

AUGUST - National Wellness Month
Overall health and wellness are important because taking care of your physical, mental, and emotional well-being can improve quality of life, increase energy, and support long-term health.
